It’s 7:30 a.m., still darkish, but I can see them.

Oh. MY GOD. I guess that’s the big old difference between Missouri and Vermont (besides all the other differences). We haven’t had our first frost yet (last night’s low: 46)
B: It’s mixed precipitation, and nothing’s sticking down here in the valley, but still. This may be the earliest I’ve seen flurries. I remember my first year in Vermont, it was Halloween. We had frost about a month ago, then it warmed up, and now it’s back to frost.
Interesting, I had a dream last night that I was walking around outside (which I did do last night) and I saw tiny snowflakes.
Bon hiver!
It dipped below freezing last night. Out comes my black Gothic overcoat.
I saw them, too, and made the kids wear their parkas to school. It’s almost time to turn on the heat.
She She: You are hard core.
Deloney: You are too.
CW: Your subconscious knows it’s winter…
Craig: Sing goddamn!
Eek! Snow always sends me into a panic– too many years living in the tropics, I guess. We’re expecting our first frost tonight with the low around 28 degrees. Eek!
the Husband called me from Billings, MT the other day and said “there’s snow on the ground here”
and my mind started screaming exactly what it started screaming here: NO! NO!
Joya, Lisa: Eek! NO NO! Utterly appropriate responses, if you ask me.
