Never underestimate the comfort of your own bed (flannel sheets) or that strawberry–banana–peanut butter–soy shake you have ’most every day for breakfast.

I hear you — and am headed home today.
Safe travels, fellow winged one!
Nesting at its best…
Here the talk is about home and pretty soon it turns to nests and nesting, proof positive that where we sleep speaks strongly to our animal self. Welcome back!
I’m going to take a long walk in the cold tonight to remind me of getting home.
Amen to all that.
be it ever so humble.
i agree.
We are off soon: but will still be glad to get back: although the concoction you describe sounds utterly noxious. Chaque a son gout, innit?
Mrs. S: Indeed. Perhaps it is the peanut butter putting you off? The first time I heard of the strawberry/peanut butter combo, I wasn’t convinced til I tried it. Now I’m hooked. It’s all frozen fruit…mmmm….
Del: And how was your walk?
Splendid as always. When people go off on vacation they never say how good it is to get back to their own bathrooms!
Believe me, Del. It was good to get back to my own bathroom.
