Bird sightings are as infrequent as my posts. I promise, I will be back. Somehow. The weight of the world and tasking has just been too great, it seems.

In September, in Pennsylvania, on the same day: at last, a for-sure Cooper’s hawk and, even more exciting, a yellow-billed cuckoo. When was the last time you saw a yellow-billed cuckoo?
